Integrated Management on Natural Resources in Asia Pacific Region

Asia Pacific (AP) is a water that has potential both economically and ecologically. These potentials are in line with the various investments in the area. However, behind the previously described potential, there are some potential threats to the environment in the area. Asia Pacific as one of the most potential international routes ships tankers connecting Australia and New Zealand, Japan, Korea China with Southeast Asia such as Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore that brings crude oil. The crude oil has the potential to spill and pollute environment around Asia Pacific and further brings impacts to the quality and quantity of waters around the region. The impacts caused by this spill can result in severe damage to the surrounding environment. Oil spills in marine waters will affect the respiration of marine biota, cause narcotic effects, and even with certain doses will kill some marine biota.
