Web Based Application Employee Performance Measurement at Jayabaya University



Jayabaya University is a private university that operates under Jayabaya
Foundation. Jayabaya University consist of bachelor program (S1), magister program
(S2) and doctoral program (S3). Although Jayabaya University already applied
computerized system in their operational activities, but in making decision related to
employee position still not use information system. System that used in magister
program at Jayabaya University now still paper based and not integrated, each of
head division assessing their employees and then give to Human Resource
Development (HRD) for making report related to performance measurement and then
making position recommendation. Its takes time for arrange report and the impact is
report can’t delivers on time. Quality of the report is another problem, because with
manual system allow human error when data proceed. Employee performance
measurement application was made for cope with problems above. The development
system using Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) method using Rapid
Application Development (RAD) model and Unified Modeling Language (UML) as
tool. Programming language that used in this research is PHP, XAMPP as Web
Server and MySQL as database. RAD used in this research because can help in
making fast adjustment. This employee performance measurement system will
deliver recommendation position for employee based on criterias that applied in
Jayabaya University. Recommendation will help director for making decision to
demote, promote or moderating employee. This application also can access by mobile
phone so can help Jayabaya University in access their information related to
employee position.
